The Taccia was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962. The Taccia table lamp has a concave spun aluminum reflector with a matte white finish. The light can be adjusted by positioning the blown glass diffuser as required. The base is made from extruded aluminum and is available in an anodized matte black or natural sandblasted finish. This Taccia emits reflected light. This modern table lamp is available in black or anodized aluminum base with Remote Phosphor LED lamp source. Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni’s industrial background in designing is very evident in this table lamp. The Taccia is the perfect example of their minimalist approach to refurbishing everyday functional objects.
