Unlike most flatware pieces with handles that have some sort of curvature, the TI-1 series of flatware exhibits a flat handle with thin profile that exemplifies it's mirror sheen while maintaining it's ease of use and nice balance. Designer Takenobu Igarashi also wanted to design a timeless piece of tableware. The TI-1 series is a recipient of both the German iF Design Award and Good Design Award.
