Kaj Franck designed the Kartio glass in 1958. Kartio is one of the purest examples of Franck's design concept and of the subject which constantly fascinated him, the basic drinking glass.
The thin glasses, which are part of the Kartio range, were made at the Iittala glassworks to Franck's original design. They are perfect for those special moments that brighten up an ordinary day, for a leisurely weekend breakfast, as a water glass at a formal meal, or for evening drinks.
