A recipient of the 2009 Good Design Award, the Pallone series of glassware by Toyo-Sasaki is made of "Strong Ion Fine Crystal" which through an ion-enhanced process of already fine (lead-free) cystal, produces glass that has superior strength and durability, including against scratches.
