About Coppola and the Tiffany Tray, in the words of Alberto Alessi:
Silvio Coppola was one of the first designers I encountered during my career. I remember his extraordinary skill freehand drawing, and his terrible temperament. His work for Alessi is classified in the last phase of the Bel design phenomenon which characterised Italian design of the 1960s and 70s.
The rectangular tray Tiffany dates from 1975, and was put back into production in 2008, at the request of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Rectangular tray in 18/10 mirror polished stainless steel.
